Does anyone remember a commercial (probably from the 80's where a Jason like killer is chasing a kid in running shoes, and can't keep up?

It's actually a Nike spot from 2000, tied in with the Olympic games (the girl is American Olympic runner Suzy Favor Hamilton.)  It was taken off the air fairly quickly, in part because some viewers complained it was too scary, but mostly because the usual gang of overreacting boneheads felt it condoned violence against women.

Back when Seanbaby actually updated his site once in a while, he wrote a typically hilarious piece about the whole brouhaha.

I've always been fond of Sportscenter commercials.  The new one with Adam Vinateri and Jim Kelly going throught the airport is hilarious.  And I thought the Peyton, Eli and Archie Manning one was great.

I'm flailing in the dark about that one until I get home so if it's the same one you posted apologies. I love the ads for "If they hadn't chosen Football" where the blokes are presenting shows on Pottery and Gardening.

Thing is I'd probably watch those shows.

I love pointing out to my buddies that the machine will beep no matter which direction you are walking, so the guy with all the rings would beep every time he walked through the arch, thus taking all the fun out of the commercial.  ;)
