Good Lord!  I would never have even considered the possibility that such a thing could exist!  As much of a child of the 80's as I consider myself, I claim no responsibility whatsoever for that show ever making it past the idea stage.

On the other hand, you have to admit, the animation of him actually turning into the car does look pretty good.

Congratulations, you've plunged me into the depths of shame with those clips, because I actually watched that friggin show.  I forgot about it for years, and about one year ago I even remembered the image of that damn kid transforming into the car and wondered what the hell I was thinking of.

Now you've reminded me Vermithrax...damn you.   

This is almost as bad as the Animalympics reference in another thread that forced memories of goats smashing through brick walls and kangaroos beating up bulls.
