WHAT THE HELL WAS WRONG WITH THIS MOVIE? Why didn't it END? I could forgive the "it was allll a dream" part if something actually HAPPENED after that, but what the hell was the POINT? Did they run out of money? I liked the movie until it just stopped. That's possibly the worst and most unexpected ending I've ever seen. That's like Sopranos bad. The whole climax was spent on something that never happened, and so didn't matter. I was fine with that, because it was interesting, and it was a great twist. But then I expected them to follow through with him stopping the bomb after that. It wasn't like his character wasn't stepping up to the plate and at the end he accepts responsibility, he just couldn't DO anything. So it wasn't about him going, "There's somethin' I gotta do. Sorry... I gotta do this alone." And I'm sorry, the movie was fucking short. They could have added an extra half hour, even if there was absolutely no conflict. I would have thought it was a weak ending, but it would have been a million times better than NOTHING. Besides, if his girlfriend lets him see further into the future then why not take her along? This wasn't a "riding into the sunset" situation, they were driving to the END OF THE MOVIE. I don't want a helicopter shot watching them drive for two miles while a Tears For Fears song plays, I actually want to SEE THE ENDING.
When I started watching this I thought, "How can they riff this? It's got too much talking and it's not that bad." So the only part I want to see riffed is the ending, which I'm sure they don't because they have to stop talking then. So I think the Rifftrax would disappoint me more than the movie.
Damn you, Nick Cage! Why did you do a movie with no ending!
