And, with one album cover, the words of 100,000 metalheads were given life...

This album came out in August, too. It's like a huge flaming Satanic time warp opened up and belched forth thrash metal from the '80s.

I always liked that there were both an explicit lyrics and an edited cover for this one.

lol, never seen that edited cover before.

... sometimes edited covers are a good thing (as is the case for Jane's Addiction)

unedited ... not nearly as distinctive as the edited one in my opinion

Speaking of edited vs unedited covers:





When this album came out I had a huge display featuring the unedited cover and boy were there a lot of uptight prudes complaining....

A fantastic, striking image for the most underrated of all the Patton-fronted FNM albums.
my entry made my girlfriend laugh a few times, the best I can hope for really.

I'd say Whalberg definately qualifies as really good.

Hawkwind have had some great covers:








MST3K made at least 3 references to Hawkwind: most famous one:
