30 Rock has been so much better than The Office the last couple of seasons. I thought the setup for the whole Hill Witch scenario was perfect.

"It's like I said in my not hit comedy, Cruise Boat, 'I'm getting too old for this ship.'". That was a great episode.

"There once was a great American named George Henderson. He met a woodland ape, or a sasquatch, and despite its dangerous message of environmentalism became his friend. And when the time came to do the hard thing and send it back into the forest where it belonged, so birds could perch on its shoulder because it was gentle, George Henderson summoned the strength and, by God, he did it. Did it hurt? You bet it hurt. Like a bastard. But he did it because it was the right thing to do....for the woodland ape."

Glad Salma Hayek wasn't on. Sad she's still around.

I liked Kenneth yelping "my name is Dick Whitman!" when he thought he was about to die.  :)

I thought the finale was overall good, but the ending? Fantastic.

"I'm one of the drunk ones!" - Cyndi Lauper   :D

By the way, Alan Alda saying the line "a guy crying about a chicken and a baby? I thought this was a comedy show" and its total reach of a lead-in made me really happy.

I missed the end-end (I left when they started singing) so I dunno if that got better. I think if I'd known who any of the singers were (I didn't even recognize Sheryl Crow until Jack introduced her) it might have been funnier.

From what I remember, there was Michael McDonald, Cyndi, Sheryl Crow, Moby, two of the Beastie Boys, Mary J. Blige, Adam Levine from Maroon 5, Sara Barreiles, Clay Aiken, Elvis Costello... and other people that I can't remember.

Was that her with the short hair?  The one who said "only three of us are drunk"?  I knew she was familiar but didn't recognize her with her hair short.

That was my favorite bit too... I wonder how many people didn't get that? A lot I bet... the final episode of MASH ran in what, 1982 or something?
