Raiders audio Line up / Synch issue
« on: October 04, 2007, 10:23:27 AM »
The RiffTrax MP3 seemed off (1-2 seconds short) a bit..
When I lined up the MP3 with the movie at the beginning, there was about a full 1-2 second drift where Disembaudio spoke the last line near the end of the movie before it was spoken on the movie. (This is similar to what I experienced with the 'Heroes' Rifftrax.)

Pinnacle Studio 9.4 - Full Version..
This is the 2nd time this has happened out of the 42-43 total Rifftrax's available (Same thing happened with 'Heroes').

I used to get a similar issue when I first started re-authoring with GoldWave. But it was because I was trying to mix the RiffTrax audio @ 44.1 KHz with the movie audio @ 48 KHz.
Once I re-sampled the RiffTrax audio to 48 KHz first before mixing, then the problem went away.

Sorry...I have never used Pinnacle Studio before  :(

Not a 'Big' deal, but it's Definitly noticable while watching the converted DVD.

Only thing I know to do is to 'splice' into the captured movie and take out a 1-2 second piece of the movie to account for the 'shortness' of the Rifftrax mp3, or splice into the MP3 Rifftrax itself, and stretch it out to the proper extension which would be quicker and easier.

But All the rest Lined Up and Converted Perfectly with No Modifications needed.
