My biggest DVD want however has got to be "Family Ties" (as in the TV show). If you can get ALF and Saved By the Bell on DVD you should be able to get one of the bes sitcoms of the 80's on DVD.

Andy Richter Controls The Universe
Ditto on this one. I'm also anxiously awaiting the second season of the Muppet Show.

As for movies, I'd like to see Welles' Chimes at Midnight, that one he was working on when he died, and a more getable version of Magnificent Ambersons. Also that Wilder one about the kid in the well. And David Byrne's True Stories BADLY needs a re-release; the current one is friggin' full frame.

Yeah, were is that anyway? It's been over a year since the first season. At least the Fraggle Rock season releases are keeping to once a year.

Apparently they want to release it, since the first one did well, but they're having licensing issues with the guests and music. Last I heard it was slated for this coming spring.

The Giant Claw is one definitely one of the ONLY giant killer bird movies. I'd love to see it on DVD and also the original version of Mothra.

And a US release of the anime flick "Mind Game".

I took a What Muppet Are You quiz and it said I was Rowlf. That made my day, as he is by far the coolest Muppet.

Watching the first season of the Muppet Show made me realize what great puppeteers Jim Henson & Co. really were/are.  Especially Jim and Frank Oz.  Put the two of them in a room together, and the comedy just happens.  They were truly the Trace Beaulieu and Frank Conniff of their time.

I would like to see the second season of Jon Favreau's Dinner For Five.  Season 1 came out like 3 years ago, but no word on the next season...It's a good show, and for those of us that don't get IFC, DVD is the only way to see it.  I know there's at least 5 seasons of this show.

I really don't understand this tendency for DVD companies to release the first season of a show and wait years (if ever) to release the consecutive seasons.  Its frustrating to say the least.

Wow, that's quite the compliment to Trace and Frank. Let's just hope that doesn't turn Frank Conniff into a pompous prick like Frank Oz.

Movie-wise it's got to be "Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Movie"! I've heard that Universal had absolutely no interest in re-releasing it though since it was such a huge bomb. Here's hoping Rhino will pick up the slack...

My biggest DVD want however has got to be "Family Ties" (as in the TV show). If you can get ALF and Saved By the Bell on DVD you should be able to get one of the bes sitcoms of the 80's on DVD.

I would doubt that Rhino would even attempt that. It means getting the rights to 2 Universal properties for one disc. Indeed, I would love for them to send out a special edition with a clear copy of the deleted scenes, any stills they have, a commentary or two with EVERYONE, a pine scented SOL air freshener, anything and everything Movie related. But, alas, I think its not going to happen.  :'(
Grapes? I hate grapes, I can't stand grapes. I loathe grapes. All kinds of grapes. I hate green grapes and I hate purple grapes. I hate grapes with seeds, I hate grapes without seeds. I hate them peeled and nonpeeled. I hate them in bunches, one at a time and in small groups of twos and threes.
