Nuisance?  How dare he speak that way of the beloved toaster???  Disembaudio's legal team is drafting a cease and desist order as we speak.  Nobody disses the Dis!

But besides that, I don't think there is anything necessarily wrong with what he is doing.  The buyer has to buy the used DVD from him and the rifftrax from Rifftrax.com to get the combined DVD.  It looks to me that he is just selling a service, albeit an over-priced service.

Well, I wasn't really saying there was anything wrong with it (though I agree on it being overpriced). I just came across it, felt like sharing, and well...who else would care beside the RiffTrax faithful?

Actually, there doesn't seem to be anything illegal (towards Rifftrax) in that auction. It's basically a DVD and service being sold. The Rifftrax(k?) has to be provided by the buyer. He's not selling the Rifftrax himself.

This is an interesting dilemma...

Firstly, it would appear that everything he is doing is "legal" in regards to him and us. However, everything is /not/ legal in regards to him and Paramount Pictures...

He is offering to synch the tracks (and he claims that DA is a nuisance, which I don't like one bit). Now - by offering to synch the tracks, it is very likely that he could attract the WRONG kind of attention and though /we/ are not doing anything illegal, one may argue that we are encouraging people to do what this guy is doing, simply by offering the product...

My advice is for everyone NOT to do what this guy did, and give us some time to resolve the issue. It will likely just sink between the cracks....hopefully
