Still on my early '80s kick and watched a couple more that I had never seen nor heard of before.
The Lathe Of Heaven
1980 made-for-tv PBS Sci-Fi film about a guy whose dreams affect reality and what happens when his shrink tries to use that power to make things better. Let's just say that things don't always work out the way you intend them to. This was a fun film. I read up on it a bit after and learned that it was based on a rather famous science fiction novel from the early '70s.
Windows
Also from 1980, this stars Talia Shire as a meek single woman living in New York City, with a neighbor who is more than she seems. It's your basic girl meets girl, girl falls for girl, girl hires guy to rape girl and make audio recordings of it so she can get off while listening to them. You know, that old story. This one is terrible.
Found these titles on IMDB while looking for obscure films from the early '80s and watched both on YouTube.
