I love Hot Fuzz too, but most of the action is in the last few minutes of the movie.  And I wouldn't call it sexy.

Shoot Em Up is action from beginning to end.  Good times.

The Cabin in the Woods

I'm not going to say anything about it other than watch it right now, before somebody gives too much of it away. Loved it!

I don't get why people keep saying this. Not the part about watching it right now, because that's what everyone should be doing. I mean the part about having the story ruined. There really isn't a big twist or anything, everything is pretty much revealed as it goes along.

Got Cabin in the Woods today, DVD, love the cover.  And the Avengers.

Look forward to watching them both, but a friend loaned me her Netflix of "The Dictator", so gonna watch that tonight.

After you turn it off ten minutes in, you can enjoy one of those good movies you got. ;)

I just think that this should be done with every movie regardless of twists.

Very true. It's just one of those things of experiencing it, letting what it's actually doing reveal itself over the course of the film. It's still fantastic even if you know everything going in, but that first time you watch it blind... that's something special.

I actually found it to just be OK. Didn't think there was all that much mystery to it.

I did watch it with a particularly bad audience and perhaps that coloured my experience.
