"Friends with Kids"

Two best friends don't like the way their other friends marriages turned out so they decide to skip the whole marriage thing and have a kid together.  Great movie but pretty much knew what the outcome would be.

But most importantly, how could I have not realized just how hot Adam Scott it?  I think he's my new crush.

Have you watched "Party Down" and "Parks and Recreation"?

No comment about someone choosing to have kids?  I'm disappointed!

Also, I would check out Adam Scott's episode of Comedy Bang Bang on IFC.  I really like Adam Scott, but I was disappointed in Friends With Kids.  Has anyone seen The Vicious Kind with him in it?  It's on netflix, and I keep meaning to check it out.

I thought Friends with Kids was incredibly tedious.  Jennifer Westfeldt watched When Harry Met Sally and then wrote her own shittier version.

Why haven't you watched this yet?  Fine, here's a link to an excerpt of it.

saw premium rush this afternoon. good movie, but nothing special. takes the "innocent guy gets the wrong package" formula and comes out with something entertaining. i liked the freeze-time-alternate-paths gimmick, but his little giggle after each one was rather annoying. worth a rental/cheap night.

So it's accurate to actually dealing with friends that have kids.

Is that directed at me?

Yes.  :D

I'm just teasing.  I have to admit, I was surprised that your comment about Friends With Kids didn't have anything to do with kids. :)

I need to get around to watching it.  Megan Mullally has said that the movie will definitely happen.

Okay, okay. :)  I'm just really interested in proselytizing for Party Down I guess.  They're even supposedly making a movie!

One of the best shows ever.
FINE

So it's Run Lola Run on bikes then?

haven't seen it, but from the parodies i've seen, similar, yes. these are only little thirty-second bits throughout the movie rather than multiple complete timelines.

Neither, I don't have cable and I don't like watching TV on my computer.  Someday I'll get the DVD of Parks and Rec.

And I think I remember Party Down being on Starz a few years back?  I think?  I think I may have seen a couple episodes, I liked it.  Wasn't able to see the whole season though.

Do you have a gaming device at all?  Xbox 360, PS3, Wii?  If not, you can buy a Roku Box for $50.  If you have any desire to stream TV shows, it's well worth it.

VHS.

Really fun horror anthology with an 80's feel, less winky than Trick 'r Treat but if you liked that you'll like this I think.

I have heard good things about that one. I will definitely check it out when it's on DVD.
