Also, showering a lot. Possibly having oil rubbed into her skin, to prepare her for her missions.
In 3D

I think she makes the 3D even without the glasses.

Really well made & fun little horror about 3 friends working as cooks in an Asylum and having to defend themselves when the power goes out... apparently the whole thing is on Youtube too

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HVPfdjhKtJ4

Then decided to follow it up with a couple of brilliant modern horrors:

No, Josh Wheadon is the guy at Asylum scripting "The Revengers."
That movie would be tragic.

I'm going to pat myself on the back for getting that reference.

I saw Beauty and the Beast in 3d the other day.  The 3d added nothing to the film, the actual quality of the art hasn't held up at all - particularly the human faces - but the songs are still knockdown awesome.  Be Our Guest will probably stand the test of time with Disney's best through sheer wit and imagination.

And one thing I learned that left my gobsmacked.  The voice for Lumiere, the Maurice Chevalier candlestick? Jerry Orbach! Yes, that Jerry Orbach! Amazing.

You didn't know that?  Huh.  I've seen the movie once and I knew that.  And you call yourself a movie nerd.

I guess my only excuse is that I hadn't seen Beauty and the Beast in about 15 years prior to the other day.  I'm certain I wouldn't have known who Jerry Orbach was back then, aside from maybe noticing that's the guy from Dirty Dancing who put Baby in a corner.

I agree about the music in Beauty & the Beast. I was blown away by it when I saw the movie in the early 90s. I loved it so much that I bought the soundtrack and used to drive around with it blasting at nearly full volume. That combination of Howard Ashman and Alan Menken couldn't be beat, and it was such a sad day for Disney and the entertainment industry as a whole when he died of AIDS. He did half of the music for Aladdin with Menken but then the next Disney movie -- The Lion King -- just had Menken and some other yahoo named Elton John. ;)

An interesting side note (to me) is that the song, "Star Spangled Man", the song & dance number in Captain America was written by Alan Menken. You can really hear the "Be Our Guest" in it, can't you?

I saw Pirahna 3d earlier today.  Any film that has Kelly Brook in it has a degree of my below the belt attention, but its a pretty good, cheesy Jaws knock-off that's very knowing in tone.  I enjoyed it.

I thought that was one of the best moments in the movie.  The song had such a sense of fun and really captured the spirit of the era.

I was at the midnight opening show for that, with a friend of mine and my younger brother. And though the audience was sadly much too small, we all had an absolute blast. One of the most balls-out (in every way) ridiculous gorefests I've ever seen, to the point where I needed something seriously innocent afterward to calm down. The 3D was delicious (if vomit-tinged) icing on the cake.

I can't wait for the sequel. I'm dragging as many friends as I can to that opening night.

When I saw it, the row behind us was teenage girls and the row in front was a group of reeeeeeally young boys on a birthday I suppose (so young they said "eww" at the naked women) with a parent who I guess didn't know much about the movie going in.  She looked like she'd been in a car accident when the lights went up, it was fantastic.

I seriously can't think of a better audience to see it with
