Actually there were moments in the film where I heard the theme from Only when I laugh:

"I'm H, A, P, P, Y
I'm H, A, P, P, Y
I know I am
I'm sure I am
I'm H, A, P, P, Y"

I wonder which moments those were... ;)

Okay, the last film I saw was a few minutes ago, called Lupin III by Studio Ghibli (the guys behind Princess Mononoke and my absolute favourite animated film, Spirited Away).  It was - as usual with Studio Ghibli - absolutely wonderful.  Funny, exciting, weird and downright creepy in places, it's the sort of film Disney wish they could make.

Oh do you mean the Castle of Caliostro?  That's a great film.  I heard from a friend who loves Lupin that MonkeyPunch was kinda pissed that Miyazaki made the film so attractive to children, when the actually comics have nudity, bad language, and guns.  But it's still an awesome movie.

Okay, the last movie I saw was a Netflix rental, Shortbus.    And I will never see it again.    Ever.

Doesn't Dennis Moore star in that?

Well shoot.  A Monty Python reference that flies over my head.  I feel a little ashamed of myself now.   :)

Haha, oooh I doubt that very much.

High Noon. The western version of 24.

Did you think Grace Kelly and Cooper were good together?  I didn't like that pairing much.

Well, this IS Renny Harlin we're talking about. Figures he'd exploit a ton of established action-movie cliches, and then purport to have invented them...

Moon of the Wolf. Low grade movie with a bunch of bayou folk in louisiana were the werewolf takes more than half the movie to show up. Not fantastic, but it was a dollar dvd, so if you like werewolf movies you'll get something out of it.
