Just watched it. This is my favorite as well. The movie lends itself very well to the riffing and there were SO many wonderful head-scratcher moments that the Film Crew picked right up on. :^)

All the temple stuff brought back loads of school field trip memories for me.  The "temple" is Coral Castle in Homestead Florida. I think we went there every year in elementary school. It was kind of cool seeing it in the flick being used the way it was.

Guys, don't miss the "Make The Film Crew Dance" extra.  Mike does a brief, albeit fully hilarious, shout-out to that greatest of host segments-- "Mike Nelson, Lord of the Dance."

Did you catch Mike doing the Talking Heads dance from Once In A Lifetime?

So, does this one have a scene selection or subtitles? The quality seems pretty well-discussed, but I've always thought the film crew DVDs tended to be a bit spartan in their options. Then again, the same usually holds true of mystery science theater 3000 dvds. It seems a bit of a shame, considering how many interesting tidbits you could have with these far-out and obscure films.

Mine isn't in my hands yet, but I would imagine since these were all done as a lot 3 years ago, I doubt any features are going to be altered between individual release dates.

That was a little annoying for me: there's no subtitles and the "scene" selections are nowhere to be found.  If you want to skip ahead, it cuts to the start of the movie, then the lunch break, and then the end of the movie.

Oh, I loved this one.  Funny throughout, and even the film was stupidly entertaining.  The "make the Film Crew dance" bonus feature was hilarious, but so was the Say Goodbye the Wongo Way.  Can't wait for Giant of Marathon - which is a Jacques Tourneur film!

They better start thinkin about making some more of these things... I've been gettin spoiled having them show up at my door every coupla months. It's gonna suck if they decide not to do it anymore.

Bob Honcho posted here once... maybe he can give us some insight.

I'm not sure it's a new idea... it may be an old idea that is finally getting released.

I don't know if there will be anymore of them or not.

Hi, guys,

Bob Honcho here!

If the first four do well, there will be more.

Best,

Bob

lol, well upon investigating I see he answered my question months ago...

My copy finally arrived Tuesday (a full week after it was officially released...sheesh).  I was able to watch the first half of it, and it's great so far.  I'm really liking how these Film Crew movies are not just bad, but completely incomprehensible.

Did you DANCE!!!!!!!!!!! ?

That was the best part of the movie. Especially when I commanded Pak to DANCE!!!! and he went into convulsions.

Good stuff, with the best Film Crew stints yet (Hollywood After Dark was a little weak in that area). The movie was definatly a headscratcher. Were they going for drama? Comedy? Romance? What?? And why did the king of Wongo have blue hair?
