Welcome to the RiffTrax Roundtable!
« on: August 18, 2006, 12:13:37 PM »
Welcome! Feel free to browse these forums or register to become a full member. After doing so, you will be able to post suggestions, create polls, speak with other forum members to pick up tips, give suggestions, or to discuss the fact that Kevin Costner?s ?Waterworld? was set far enough in the future that his character had evolved gills, but not far enough that humankind had yet run out of cigarettes. Would that be eighty years? Two hundred? A billion? See ? there is still so much to learn.

Thanks for stopping by and have fun!

Gills!

I thought everybody had gills.... How else would I have been able to swim to the US from my homeland in the Pacific Isles?

Are my webbed feet ahead of their time as well?

Hooray, a RiffTrax forum! I hope RiffTrax proves to be a distinctly profitable venture, all three so far have been hilarious and I want more.

I agree. I hope this becomes very successful. I just bought the Roadhouse rifftrack. I have been wanting to see Roadhouse ever since the "Patrick Swayze Christmas." This just will just make it so much better.

Yep, this is a dream come true for most MST3K fans. I can't wait to see what new movie you guys riff on next.  ;D

I remember watching an interview with Mike on a show I can't recall at the moment, but I remember that he was asked the question, "If you could riff on any movie, past or present, what would it be?" (paraphrased), and of course, his answer was Road House. I'm glad he finally got that out of his system, for the benefit of all. :D

It's also making a splash at the (Shameless plug) MST3K Cheese -O- Rama

You are awsome Mike. Thanks so much for keeping the riff-flame alive! Now go grab some more friends like Kevin and blast "Battlefield Earth" please ;)

Thank you so much for opening a community forum, Mike!  We all love riffing and we all love Mystery Science Theater 3000.  This is a much needed escape.  And though I haven't downloaded a single rifftrack yet I strongly suggest The Crow: Wicked Prayer, or When a Stranger Calls.

Did Kevin Costner expose his buttocks in Waterworld?, or was it just every other movie he was in? Whatever, it's not important.

Thanks for opening this board, and I look forward to more great Rifftrax to come.

Nope, no Costner butt in that one, though if I recall, there was another butt shown.

And even then, it was Jeanne Tripplehorn's butt double.
