It came today and I just finished it.  Awesome stuff!  I'm proud to add it to my dvd shelf.

Is it just me or did the movie seem boring and confusing?
I found it boring. I was also quite disappointed as the writing quality wasn't near what it was in the series.

Can anyone comment about the nasty rumors I keep hearing about the packaging being a CARDBOARD SLEEVE?

Yup. It's cardboard. Cardboard with a nifty changey-hologram on it, but cardboard none-the-less. I believe it's all in keeping with the "green" production values of the DVD.

Yeah, its cardboard with a little plastic, in order to make the packaging carbon neutral.  Guess that comes with being friends with Al Gore and putting him in the movie.   ;D

The Hanukkah Zombie was Mark Hamil!  That seriously just made my day to learn that.   :D

Since I had to return two copies of the disc before getting one that wasn't scratched to hell,  this seems to be a case of "Making a gesture that ends up being more harmful than the original problem was." They could have probably solved the scratching problem by putting the DVD in a paper sleeve, but I guess it's much better to have those DVDs sitting in a landfill.

They'll all be in landfills eventually.

That's so sad to me because I really like those kinds of covers, they are so nice.  :(

I got mine at Best Buy, so it had an extra bonus disc which made the whole package sort of, well, packed.  Held the disc in nicely.

Hi all,

Stopped by Target Tuesday to pick it up, just watched it for the 3rd time...

1st time I thought it was too long, but I think that's just because we're used to seeing an episode wrapped up in 20 minutes...
2nd time with the commentary track on, that is a blast, and loads of useful info...
3rd time I could pay attention to the little details and follow the time travel bits much easier.

According to the commentary this one has the most complicated plot of the 4 movies.  Hard to believe anyone that's a fan of the show thought it was boring, confusing maybe, but not boring...

Put "Everybody Loves Hypnotoad" on while your doing other stuff, it's pretty funny but you have to make it through the long stretches where it's just Hypnotoad on screen.

Later,
 Marty

There is a great converted cover over at R1DB.com. A few bucks to keep the site running gets you a bunch of credits so you can download.

I'm not looking forward to this. I ordered mine from Amazon, so I'm hoping it didn't get scratched to shit in transit.

Mine was from Amazon too, and my disc was perfect.  Here's hoping.

Do they mention anything about Torgo's Executive Powder on the commentary track?

No, I was hoping they would explain that, but when it came on screen they were talking about why they did 4 movies.  Other times it came on screen I didn't hear anyone mention it.  OK, they do mention it but don't explain it...

Does this include the bonus feature "Everybody loves Hypnotoad", or was that just a joke?

It's supposed to be a full episode of "everybody loves hypnotoad" I'm almost certain that this is going to be the animation/noise of the hypnotoad looking straight at the camera looped for 22 minutes...maybe with opening/closing credit sequences and some ad breaks if were lucky.

That's an exact description of the actual episode. Establishing shots of Raymond's house, with snazzy Year 3000 upgrades. A few funny commercial breaks. Some outtakes.

I played it for a crowd of my geekiest friends, and hilarity was enjoyed by all. Now go watch Hypnotoad immediately.

All glory to Hypnotoad.
