Woo! Electroman! I'm less ashamed than I'd like to admit to say I have seen and ENJOYED nigh every Ernest movie. I'm a sucker for cartoon slapstick. :^)

I love Ernest too.  I've seen every one of his films. (even the straight to video)  I don't think Mike will ever do one or Jingle all the way, because they are comedies.  I don't think they ever did a straight comedy on MST3K.  I would like to them try one.  But there may be too many jokes thrown around for a good riffing.

I don't think they ever did a straight comedy on MST3K.

I know it's been discussed before, but Catalina Caper probably qualifies as a straight comedy.  And that episode turned out really funny.  But I like Mike's thoughts on Riffing comedies from the teevee.org interview, and I could see why he wouldn't want to make a habit out of it.
Think about it, won't you?

The big question is, if they ever do an Ernest movie, how will they decide between Ernest Goes to the Beach and Ernest DOESN'T Go to the Beach.  It's a tough decision gentlemen.

Come on, we're trying here. It's not like we talk like a bunch of retarded monkeys on crack... like on just about every other forum.

It's not like YOU wrote any of that yourself.

I need to find a retarded monkey forum...

IGN forums?

Die Hard would be a great Christmas Rifftrax. And I base this on nothing at all.

Check the Adultswim.com forums. I do believe that not only is it populated by retarded monkeys, but that a great deal of Crack is involved in their posting process as well. :^)

Seriously it is SO cool to find a forum where people can speak in complete sentances and words! :^)

I don't know about Gremlins??? I don't think it would work for me.

However, Die Hard would be great. Its a classic late 80's cheesy action flick. I think it would work very well with the RiffTrax genre.
