B) Spreading the same exact converstation out amoungst 4 and 5 threads is counterproductive.  Sticking to the established threads means that everyone that is interested in a certain topic benefits from having one concise place to discuss it with others.

It's all over the place.  So lets try and keep our little corner of the intranets tidy so that it is more accessable to newcomers.

So...Hey! How about the Film Crew and their new DVD? Or The Riff-Off winner: Congrats Timflan!

Oh, and I'd totally pick Jingle All the Way.   ;D

I went with Jingle All The Way as well

How we've yet to see one Arnie film being riffed on is beyond me  ;D

But doesn't an Arnie movie where he keeps his shirt on kind of buck the trend of all the bare chested he-man performances of Swayze, Diesel, Cruise and Spears flicks we've already seen riffed??
Eventually Mike has to tackle one of the Conan flicks.

I would love it if the first (of many I hope) Arnie flick riffed is Jingle all the way for the simple fact that it would go against the trend of what people would think Mike would pick.....

Keep in mind that Mike's new status as a Californian puts him squarely under the iron-fisted rule of Arnold the Governator.

Mike tears Jingle All the Way a new one, and the next thing you know, the State enacts an exorbitant new "RiffTax."  Or worse, Maria Shriver jumps out of Mike's closet in the wee hours of the morning, screaming, "I, Skeletor, shall have the power of Greyskull!" resulting in a massive coronary, or at least a thorough and highly embarrassing bedwetting.

Surely you can understand why he's hesitant.

Maybe as we get closer to Christmas, they'll re-release some classics. How many variations of A Christmas Carol could possibly come out?  A straight one with George C. Scott, the Albert Finney musical "Scrooge", the Bill Murray comedy "Scrooged", "Mister Magoo's Christmas Carol," or the one man show by Patrick Stewart.
Or various "family get-together" movies usually center around the holidays. Like "The Family Stone".
Was "Christmas in Conneticut" the remake that Arnold S. directed?

How about the two best Xmas movies ever? (besides Muppert Christmas Carol)

DIE HARD and GREMLINS?

Scott is so right!

(about all three movies!)

I think that if Jingle All The Way was done it would likely be the first Rifftrax I didn't buy.
