Any Trance/Madchester/Techno/House Listeners here

I'm ashamed that the first 5 pages of this board does not have a post dedicated to these genres!

Anyways, i'm currently listening to Pete Tong right now, brilliant DJ. I've also bought some Happy mondays and New Order songs on my iTunes!

And i'm saving my money for Ibiza next year.

Not a big fan of trance but I love the Mondays and New Order (Like Joy Division too though).

Whoah, I came to the music section just to 'rave on' about the new Happy Mondays album.

So anyway, I am stunned by it (Uncle Dysfunctional).

'Demon Days' (Gorillaz) is very good, but this is simply wonderful.  It's so rare that an album starts out good and becomes mind-blowing.

'Cuntry Disco,' 'In the Blood,' 'Anti Warhole,' 'Rush Rush.'

Maybe it's just my kind of thing, but I've never heard so many great songs in a row.

Is this the thread where we describe the British dance culture, and guess who 'Pete Tong' is?

Every one of them sucks.   :P

I keed, I keed!  That's one impressive list there, Tauf.

I've been listening to Shadow's Endtroducing a lot at night.  Any recommendations of that caliber?

Well, i can suggest you David Guetta and Pete Tong. But they're more European compared to Shadow.

Thanks for the suggestions.  I sure know of Tong, just haven't made the leap yet.

One I can add is Earth's new album, 'The Bees Made Honey in the Lion's Skull.'

My best summation:  If Brian Eno scored the old Clint Eastwood Westerns.

Incredibly dense, and very Ennio Morricone.

I call it Electro-Tumbleweeds.
