Jeezy creezy, this thread is making me feel old.  But I think that if I call myself old in this thread, I'll just get yelled at.

So far, I feel old because most of my favorite music is on the oldies stations (can I help it if I think classic rock is better than 99% of modern music?), and because stuff that I remember from my history is already showing up in history books (9/11 got a mention in my Junior year history Regents review book).  On top of this, I can usually predict when the weather's going to turn sour because my head starts acting up a bit more.  And plenty of the kids in my class, or around the same general age range, are either preggers or have at least one baby.

Screw getting yelled it.  I'm the oldest 20 year old ever.

You know you're getting old when your pants cover your belly button.

You know you're getting old when you yell at kids to get off your lawn.

I FEEL older than most of the people on this forum, but the more I found out peoples' ages, the more I discover that in most cases I'm no more than 2-3 years older than you all. And in some cases, I'm even younger. Yeesh. Finding out I'm not old makes me feel old, for some reason. :P

It doesn't count then, it only counts if you remember it when it was a new band and your parents didn't understand why you listened to them.

This isn't a "you know you're old" thing exactly but rather a fun little anecdote.

OK so we were on the way to the DSO last night and listening to the radio in the car. The was a story about how T.I. occupies the number one and two spot on the Hot 100 chart. Well they played some of both singles to which Ann declared "they both sound the same, there's nothing about different about them!".

Then the story mentioned that the last person to achieve the two top position placements was Nelly and they played a bit of Hot in Herre to which Ann said "now there was a song with a melody!"

Yes, I needled her about how old ladylike that sounded for a bit, including singing Country Grammar in an old biddy voice.  :D
