i gave it a 9.  Defintley a good trax to start out the new season.  I always like the MKB trax the best.  They dint run out of steam, and the riffs were steady throughout.

Great Work by All 3, but I just like the Star Wars & Star Treks better :)

One of the funniest, if not the funniest, rifftrax I have heard so far -- and I loved the previous ones!

I think it was a good effort, wierd they didnt riff on "dine in hell" or the fact that 10,000 people, roughly a fraction of a baseball crowd, looks like 10 million at the end (maybe spartans can't count?). The track did desync for me by about a second each chapter, which I cant explain. Not a bad start to start the season.

I have this odd habit of listening to the MP3 first before i sync it up with the movie.

JUST finished watching 300 the first time without commentary.   DAMN, what a great film.   I feel like doing more violence (to quote a line from "angel") after seeing this film.

Eventhough i LOVED the film, I think I will LOVE the riff too.

So this is the "thoughts" thread? Okay:

I thought it was great.  Some very funny lines from all three, though I think Bill came up with my favourite line: "This is spart of a balanced breakfast!"   Disembaudio's horror when he walks in on the semi-rape was quite hilarious too.  I gave it an 8.

My favorite line?

"And you must be Xeres."

"No, that's Ann Coulter without her wig."

10 without a doubt for this one.  Dis had a great moment again, and having all three guys back is just outstanding.  And I loved the movie by itself anyway.  Adds up to a 10 or better in my book.

I was eating dinner while watching this and the line "Mr. Clean goes to Mardi Gras" when Xerxes appeared almost made me spit out my sandwich.  It's hard to laugh and chew at the same time. :)

Anybody who rates this high is a die-hard MST fan who is simply and purely in deep, deep denial.  This was a horrible, thrown together riff that is actually more painful to listen to than watching the actual movie (which I believe is the exact opposite of what the riffs are made to do).  The whole point of rifftrax and MST is for Mike and his friends to sound witty and hilarious while watching bad movies.  This made them sound stupid and made me want to slap Kevin Murphy for not having one joke worth laughing at in the whole movie (he obviously would disagree since he laughed more through the movie than his audience).  I love Mike, he is hilarious...but if he slaps another piece of sh@t on this site like 300 I probably won't buy another rifftrax.  He obviously knows what is funny, this was rushed and horrible.

Stick to movies that deserve riffing (dennis quaid quality movies) and you can't go wrong.  Shame on Mike and the gang for producing this god-awful waste of time and money.
