Jim Rockford - The Rockford Files

How old are you. My wife always says I'm an old man for liking the Rockford Files. I think because it was hr grandfather's favorite program.

I love it, I'd add Rockford's dad to the list too.

26.  I love the Rockford Files, though it has too many car chases - a 70s TV staple, and Garner's hobby, I believe - and the lack of continuity is a little annoying sometimes.  I'm a big fan of James Garner, he's awesome!

Rockford's dad was awesome.

And not just that but the relationship between father and son is excellent; It's one of the best and most believable ever.

Off the top of my head...

Mike Logan
Lennie Briscoe
John Munch
Arthur Dietrich

Awesome. Throw in Adam Schiff and you have a mantastic list, wot.

hehe, I love the Law & Orders and Homicide (thus Pembleton)...

but That's Arthur Dietrich, not Arthur Branch... Dietrich was on Barney Miller (Steve Landesberg).

I could also easily add Robert Goren  :)

Briscoe and Logan ARE Law and Order... in fact, rumor has it that Briscoe tattooed "Law" to his right cheek, and Logan tattooed "Order" to his left cheek, so that when the two were in the shower side by side back at the precinct, there was no question of who was in charge.....

Goren is an okay character, but sometimes I wonder if they aren't just setting him up for a huge postal-episode where he unleashes his wrath of sarcasm and then flops back from an anneurism....

My favorite female lawyer from the show is still Novak!

I agree, Briscoe & Logan defined Law & Order... although the crossover episodes with Homicide with Briscoe and Munch were hilarious, they should have given them their own show.

As for the hottest female ADA.... had to be Abby Carmichel  :-*

If you liked him in Rockford Files, I bet you loved him in Rocketship XM!

The more of these I read the more I remember I forgot... Jim Rockford and Columbo are definitely on my list!
