No, I mean I've only been able to watch a episode at any point for ten minutes before I switch off the TV due to the unrelenting naffness of the show and characters, especially Don Draper.

Man, do I love British slang.........

As an aside, I keep thinking your Betty White avatar is actually Odo.  Must be the mustard-colored uniform.

A Golden Girls/Trek crossover would have been amazing and I don't know why they never did it, frankly.

Back to the topic on hand, I keep forgetting to mention those goddamn STUPID Sonic Drive-In fast-food ads with various people having stupid conversations in their cars while parked at Sonic. It's bad writing, bad acting and/or bad improv, and they're not funny - yet they've been Sonic's ad campaign for like 4 years! There's a reason there's like 3 Sonics that I know about in my state, guys! Get a new ad campaign already.

You'll have to content yourself with this:

this would be the most rocking movie ever.

I've thumbed through this at the bookstore and seriously debated with myself over purchasing it, but it can only end up letting me down.

4 years?  Pfft.  Mastercard has been using the same stupid "Priceless" ad campaign for like 15.

I do like the one that was advertising free milkshakes or something and the one guy thinks some flirty ladies had them sent over. I know, it sounds hilarious when I describe it that way.

I'm fine with ad campaigns that go for a long time, if they're kept fresh, like the Geico Gecko ads - but while Geico also has like 4 other simultaneous ad campaigns (Cavemen, though those ads are honestly getting old; the Kash ads, etc...), Sonic seems to be relying on just that one campaign of seriously unfunny ads, and it's annoying.

agreed. Geico gecko is cute and funny at times, cavemen is kinda meh now, googly eyed money is ok,. They at least have a variety.

Sonic ones are NEVER funny. They are so bad they suck the life out of you. I never eat at sonic. 1: The commercials suck ass and that would be saying the ads work. 2: The food is crap. Seriously been a few times. Never had good food.

HOWEVER, I think Sonic is worth it for one thing: Cherry Limeade.  Stuff's fucking awesome.

And you can make it at home in about a minute: http://www.recipezaar.com/Sonic-Cherry-Limeade-79542

There. Sonic still sucks.

Eh, I prefer Crystal Light's Pomegranate Lemonade, or Cherry Pomegranate. Now that stuff is awesome!

This fucking thing is in front of all our movies right now. It combines two of my least favorite attributes: It's stupid and disturbing.

When you're a robot, like this guy apparently is, you can't truly "feel it" to begin with.

Wow I knew HFCS did nasty crap to your system but I had no idea how nasty.

Exactly why should I drink your product Sprite?

Oh and while I've yet to meet a National Guard Ad that i like this one sinks even lower:

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/AbfPj00pTNY&amp;hl=en_US&amp;fs=1&amp;color1=0x234900&amp;color2=0x4e9e00&amp;border=1" target="_blank" class="new_win">http://www.youtube.com/v/AbfPj00pTNY&amp;hl=en_US&amp;fs=1&amp;color1=0x234900&amp;color2=0x4e9e00&amp;border=1</a>

I'm not sure if having a song that calls to mind a famous cantata that is mostly concerned with failure is exactly the best approach to any sort of military recruiting advert.

Last time I saw this (before The Wolfman) my friend Eric commented "It's like an ad for the National Guard of Belarus"
