The drummer did go out first. The singing though is what sells that clip.

I imagine for all of them it was their first times though.

I hope they set up the ability to queue up multiple songs at once, at least I didn't find that option in Guitar Hero 2.

That would be cool. You should be able to make a "set list" at least for the online play.

My uncle was up there and said that it was amazing! He said that that video really doesnt show all of the cool things that they have done with this game. (mostly because of the camera work). The way that they have blended all 4 parts together and with the master tracks it makes it sound so much better than GH2.  We are going to be some of the first in line to get our own copies of this game. So hard to wait!

Heh, well while surfing through the official forums I saw a post from seanhmx saying that you won't be penalized for swearing in a song they have had to censor.

And it appears there is a playlist generation and saving system.

Have you guys seen the current annouced playlist? Original Masters in Bold.

Currently announced Downloads

Nevermind seems in a bit of flux, but the latest IGN article has it in.

RB definitely has the edge over GH3 for big names and masters.

Grateful Dead! That is a pretty good grab for content. I might get Truckin or Touch of Grey. I am gonna need to get that stupid 120 gb hard drive.

I was thinking the same thing, I was hoping that since the 360's have dropped in price that maybe they would finally drop the price for the hard drive.

Yeah I don't know how big the actual songs are but I am guessing 5 megs a minute? 4 channels, decent bit rate? Mono? each instrument isn't going to need stereo effects are they?

The guitar hero 2 360 downloads were around 10mbs per song.  So for Rockband I would assume it would have to be slightly bigger because of the drum tracks.

Yeah a GH track would be 3 channels right? 2 Guitars, and everything else, hang on I think I miscounted for Rock Band,.....

Vocals, 2 Guitars, Drums, Everything else, ok 5 Channels, but I don't think that would make much difference with my size estimate.

Don't forget that each track except vocals also has a practice mode so that is another 3 soundtracks per song per instrument.
