There were only, what, 7 or 8 episodes in the season?  What kind of TV season is that?

It was 10 or 11. Last season had 11 episodes.

And I agree with Rad, this was an awesome season. I loved every episode this season!

It sure seemed like less.  I guess 10 is acceptable.  Season 7 of Scrubs was truncated to 11 episodes due to the writer's strike.  That stands out because as a network sitcom, they usually get a full 22 episodes per season.

I don't mind short seasons with a show like Always Sunny, because it is still a small group working thier ass off.  Forcing longer seasons out of them, we might see the quality per episode dip down.
