An update on my kitty Boo...

She has basically become the boss of my apartment, but in a good way.  She has adapted to her new home just fine.  I have bought her several cat condos for her to use and she does every day.

She is an awesome cat.  I am her human much more than she is my cat, and that is cool.

She is getting big too.  I will try to post some pictures tomorrow.   :)

My cat has to wear a collar/cone sort of thing and he looks so hilariously dumb.

Had my Guinea Pig Brownie about four months now with no sign of illness.  So I got her a friend today from a professional breeder, met the Guinea parents and everything.  The one I chose came right up to my hand which shows shes comfortable with humans.  Shes the cutest baby.  Gonna keep her seperate from Brownie a while before I introduce them.  Hopefully Brownie will accept her and I can eventually put them together.

I love that you keep guinea pigs and love them so much. So many people think they're just disposable pets. You're a good piggy mommy. :)

A friend of mine in college moved to South Africa for awhile when he was a kid before they moved back to the US.  He said they raised them when he was over there. And that they were actually pretty tasty.

I would imagine it wouldn't be much different than eating a small rabbit. I don't want to eat those, either.

Guess its the same thing ass Chinese eating dogs.  Hard to imagine a beloved pet being someone's meal in another country.

Named my new piggy Goldie.  She's dark gray with golden spots.  Her daddy was black and her momma gold so she's the perfect mix.  And she's already taking carrots from my hand.

Are there enough people into Peruvian cuisine to justify a Guinea Pig meat industry in the US.

Second on the rabbit not being worth it, though all my pet rabbits have been meat breeds so I got some nice big pals out the fact people eat bunnies.

My foster cat Archie went to his forever home yesterday.

It was so hard the house so quiet even with my other cats and piggies.  Will probably pick up new foster Monday.

It's hard not to grow attached, I miss all mine.  I know my cat Mika misses Archie.  He walks around the house just looking around and mumbling to himself.  He's never acted like this before.  The way Mika mumbles, sometimes right in my face, its like he's trying his best to talk.

Got my first picture of Archie cuddled up to his new friend in his home.  He fit right in and made himself at home

These stories is what makes the fostering worth it.  When I got him he was a skinny cat scared of his own shadow.  When he left he was a fat cat.  Still nervous, but a lot more outgoing.  I hate to think about what he went through.
