Yeah, we will definitely take pictures of introducing Chance to Todd. It will be interesting.

And thanks!

Actually, no, he was pre-named. He's 10 so we didn't want to rename him at this point in his life.

How do you know the previous owners weren't MSTies?

Oh shit, I didn't even think of that. I was thinking old west because we have Kitty, too. (Not sure where Todd fits into the theme, though.)

I've had my youngest cat Mika almost two years ago, as a kitten from the shelter after Mr. Kitty died.  And I hate to play favorites, but he's my favorite.

Anyway, he loves to smell me when I come home.  I mean all over, he won't let me touch him until he's done.  He'll even grab my hand with his paws or knock it away until he's done if I try to pet him, it's quite funny.  Sometimes if I've been around other animals he'll hiss as he does it.  It scared me at first, but now I know he'll never hurt me.  After he's done he's all love and affection.  Never had a cat like him.

A few months ago I started saying "smelly boy" whenever he does it.  Now, whenever I say "smelly boy".  I mean whenever, he'll come to me and start sniffing away.  I have trained my cat to sniff me.

Hey, it's something to do...

We just discovered these two rather large lumps near the "armpits" or our youngest (a little over a year old) female cat. She'll be going to the vet soon but of course I did a stupid thing and looked up what it could be on the internet. Now I'm convinced she has cancer.

Yea, it's probably just some kind of infection that can be taken care of. Stupid internet.

I love cats. Never understood why so many people hate them. I've had at least one cat living with me for the last 30 years. Every single one has been a stray or from a shelter. I can understand the appeal of dogs, but with cats, when they accept you as a friend, it just feels more meaningful. It's not like the unconditional love you get from dogs. It's more like you've earned their trust.

Currently I have a cat named Gracie. My mom found her and her sister, Molly, on the side of the road as kittens. Molly was unfortunately hit by a car a few years later. Gracie has an odd allergy to mosquitoes. Every summer her ears and face become covered with scabs from what we can best figure are mosquito bites. She's a bit of a 'fraidy cat, but to be honest, that's something I can relate to.

I still mourn the loss of Teddy, who died a few months ago of a heart attack. Seven years ago he was a stray who would stand on his hind feet and look through our screen door.  He ended up being the most loving cat I've ever lived with.

Our Kitty had a lump on her back a couple of years ago and I was worried that it was the same. It was benign, though, and she's doing well now.

What happens if his owner tied a white hankerchief to the leash and then the dog peed on it?

The dog would get a round of claps for his large penis.
