I'm sorry for your loss, Sicgirl.  She looks like a real sweetie.

Came home today to find out my Mom had to put our dog to sleep.

The worst.

Sorry to hear it.  Have been there (with cats, but the shittiness is the same.)

So Jemmy was going on a barking jag and had to be banished to his crate to calm down. After doing that I went to make a cup of tea, walking out of the kitchen I discovered that Boo had pulled all her favourite toys from the various spots she'd hidden them and arranged them in front of the crate, presumably so they could keep Jem company for the few minutes of incarceration he had to go through.

Not Jem,  Boo adores him (he tolerates her), it was akin to a woman in some 19th century melodrama taking the children to the prison walls to see their convict father before he's shipped off to Australia. :)

So Boo is currently sitting on the arm of the sofa in the Red Sitting Room with a small doggy smile on her face as she listens to Zadok The Priest, that's my girl. :)

Our cats are currently battling fleas, and it's a miserable experience for everyone in the house. We put the flea medicine (I think Frontline) on them yesterday, but I really hate using that since it makes them so sick.

That is one nice bunny hotel you built....... he is not lacking space at all.  My dog would love to........"play" ....... with your bunny.   Dobermans and bunnies are always the best of pals.

I bet the killer cats and birds are plotting revenge on you for protecting the bunny.

My sister just got a Rabbit.  I give it two weeks before one of the cats gets into the house and kill the thing.

My dog did glare and stand at attention when she saw two rabbits on our neighborhood walk this morning.   I think she was praying the leash would disappear.

Corgis are fantastic for that. There are squirrels all over where I live, and so when I'm out walking Ein, he'll start to chase. Even with the extend-o leash, he doesn't get enough force to knock me off balance.  ;D
