Hey, Annabelle found Penny Wise the Clown's hideout.   Who wants to help me finish him off?

Took her for a walk after dinner and I see a couple ten year olds playing soccer in the street.   Annabelle and I walk on by on the sidewalk and suddenly she move about two feet to my right and chomps on something and swallows it.   I then notice that she ate a McDonald's hamburger that was laying on the ground right by the sidewalk.   One of the kids goes "hey, your dog ate my burger!!" in a real whiney voice.   I just laugh and move on.

Of course, I told her "good girl".

She got a snack and made a punk sad.   But really, who the hell leaves their hamburger on the grass by the sidewalk?

Hello Rocko!

Does he eat live mice or some other modern "snake chow"?

I believe he is somewhere in the neighborhood of two and a half to three feet long (about as long as he's going to get, basically). He had a really clean shed recently, so I'll measure the skin to ballpark it better. And he eats mice; two adult feeders every two weeks or so.

Had him for more than 5 years now and love him :D

High five, fellow snake owner!

*no arms*

Awww...

Anyway, two more pics. These are older and not indicative of his current size:

Called another local shelter about their kittehs.  They seem to be better about updating PetFinder with new cats that are up for adoption than the 2 we are pre-approved to adopt from already, but they don't list their address on their craptastic angelfire/geocities looking website. They say to call and get the address which is weird. Even the email I sent last week was immediately replied to with an auto reply saying to call.  I have a feeling it's out of some crazy cat lady's home.

But they have a few kittens that look like my old cat (and wurwolf & APGiL's cat Todd) so I'm hoping they call back at some point.

How long do pet snakes live, about 20-30 years?   Do they have any personality?
