ok in this movie they down some louie.

as they say its an EXTREMELY expensive cognac. they claim its 500 bucks a bottle.  last time i heard that price has doubled or triple. im too lazy to look it up exactly.  due to its amazing price i have always been to poor to try it.

has anyone on this forum got a chance to try it?  and if so what was the experience like?

Yes, it's extremely expensive.  I've been to several fancy restraunts for it, and it was over $120 just for just a little more than a shot.  I've seen it online for around $1500-2000 a bottle.  This is the type of liquor that stores/bars lock up in a safe.  Maybe one day I'll get the oppertunity to buy some.  The price in the movie may be a little inaccurate as $500 in 1988 is now around $800 in today's money.  Perhaps there was a higher supply back then making the prices lower.
