I say if it's on Fox and it lasts more than four episodes, it's permanent.

Yeah, I was kidding. I already said it lasted more than one season, which is obviously a much better cancel-o-meter reading. But they did cancel Drive after four episodes, so I was talking about post-Drive trigger finger.

Besides, you monkeys forget they will want to tie this in with the THREE Christianator movies coming out. So this really should be on for years to come. I would be really surprised if they cancelled it. It's a cash cow unless the ratings are worse than the Chevy Chase Show.

How's Sarah going to get out of this one? That's our Sarah! WAH WAH WAHHHH.

Seriously, it's called The SARAH CONNOR Chronicles. She can't ever die. Like... ever. I'm not sure why they called the show that, never did. Maybe they were already planning the Boring Old John Connor Chronicles, but I didn't get that impression. But they have to stick with it now.

Yeah, I don't know why they killed Derek like that. I was thinking maybe the evil robots would do something with his body, like turn him into a cyborg for John Henry's brother or something.

But seriously, where the fuck are your trousers?

    • Yep, I have a deviantART gallery. But it's pretty cheerful drawings-- no angsty poems or black-and-white photos of wooden chairs.

Yeah, I thought we lost him in a rather anticlimactic way. But that's probably more realistic. Not everyone in a war goes out in some blaze of glory like main characters always do. Most of the time it's probably just like what we saw. Going about the business of the battle and then BANG! Dead.

And I really liked him, so that was a shame. But it explains why the guy who plays him (I want to say Brian Austin Green) is signed onto other projects. That was being used as one of the "proofs" that the show had been cancelled. It's still looking grim, but at least that's one thing that's explained.
I used to have an image here, but Photobucket got cheap about remote linking. I guess I'll have to think of something witty instead. Which I will. Later. It caught me by surprise, in all honesty. It's hard to be clever on command, I mean, YOU try it. Be funny: NOW! See, tough. So, gimme a bit, 'kay?

And I really hope this keeps going because I was thinking of doing the Pilot as one of my next iRiffs. After doing such a long movie, a 45-minute TV show seemed really appealing. ^_^

Very impressive.  They REALLY pulled all the stops out for this episode - not only was the episode great, but there were a bunch of great callbacks to the movies thrown in there.

So... how did Cameron fix her face the first time she got all smashed up? Does she heal?

Also... where are John's trousers? lawls

Anyone else think the nice-guy terminator in Salvation looks totally boring? And am I nuts, or does John Connor act like he never met a terminator in the trailer? The way they cut it was like the Terminator movies never existed, and everyone was saying, "Oh my God, the machines are making machines that look like people? What a new concept!" I don't get it. They fooled me too. It didn't seem out of place until I thought about it.

The girl standing next to Kyle wasn't Cameron - it was Allison Young (the girl she was based on).  If it had been Cameron, the dogs would have gone nuts.

Yeah, took me a second to get that. At first I thought it might be Cameron under cover, but then it occurred to me that it was probably the girl she stole her identity from.

This was a great episode, all in all. Now if only they can stay alive for another season to wrap it up . . . or continue if they (the Fox execs) so desire.

An obvious joke that I'm surprised no one mentioned earlier.

Has anyone noticed that John Henry:

1. Lives in his parents' basement
2. Loves to play Dungeons and Dragons
3. Spends every waking second plugged into the Internet
4. Never goes outside

At last!  A character the typical audience member can relate to!  :rimshot:

'Course, it doesn't work anymore now that he's traveled into the future, but still...
