the forgotten
« on: September 22, 2006, 10:28:08 PM »
ok look i now rifftrax has shown the 80s had some terrible movies, road house etc, but where i think the 80s really shined, is their comedies.  They were so much smarter than the crap now.  im watching the man with two brains right now, i had forgotten how funny and  witty this slapstick is.  good shit.

there were some bad 80s comedies to be sure, but damned there are some good ones.

I love The Man With Two Brains. One of the he only pan-and-scan DVDs I've ever purchased. Give us a special edition, Dr. Hfuhruhurr.

Did you see it? I sure didn't THINK I could enjoy it.

I would also like to add that I wouldn't suggest it to anyone, just that I enjoyed it.
FINE

well admittedly no i havent seen it.  i should probably see it.  but unfortunately i dont think it will pass my rapper rule.

rapper rule: anyone i can classify as a rapper is attempting to act in a major rule in the movie then it will suck.

and i always liked the old pink panther movies so it would be a hard start.

Ice Cube's a great actor and LL Cool J's usually a pretty solid.

i havent seen three kings, and tmnt2 doesnt have anything that can be called a rapper.  even vanilla himself would admit it.

Atfirst I thought this topic was going to be about suggesting the recent Tommy Lee Jones movie of the same name and I was expecting to see the obligatory Tarantula's post about how the movie suggestion topic is over that away and that he cant stand these topics cus there like ROACHES!!!

But alas.....I was disapointed.  :'(
