Practically any 80s cheesefest will make for some superb riffing. Especially the ones with Tom Cruise in them.

And they must take themselves seriously. Then it's funnier.

I wonder if it's possible to riff documentaries effectively. Food for thought.....

Well i could always be wrong and top gun is pretty bad. Anyways i do enjoy all the rifftrax & think that they are funny in one way or another. Its Just some are funnier than others, thats all.

P.s. as far a riffing Documentaries. I dont know how you can make fun of real avarge people without looking like an ass and i really think that Rifftrax shouldnt become to political. But i guess doing the one about the Spelling Bee wouldnt be that bad.

My 2 favorite lines (because of the inside jokes):

Spoiler: Copy and paste in Reply window or text editor to view

Door closes after X-Men title logo, a la MST3K runway doors
Bill: "That looks familiar..."

MERIDIAN, MISSISSIPPI
The not too distant future
Bill: "Not too dis- Why does that look familiar?"

Let me just say that their call-back to the Thunderdome joke:  "Can't we just get BEYOND Thunderdome?" Was brilliant!

Also, does anyone remember which episode that made refer to this running gag?

Thanx MrTorso.  How could I forget it was the episode with claymation aliens and an arm cannon?

I'm also going best Rifftrax Ever. The riffing was right up there with some of the best MST3Ks. The running gags, the subtle in-jokes, naming Professor X "Rolley," the awesome back-and-forth. Rifftrax has found its voice! :^)

Rolley had me rolling!

A good one, toss up for me wether I like this or STar Trek V better. When Shattner Falls and they go into the Price Line spiel that had me rolling as well.

This one is my favorite so far.  Unlike most of you guys, I really didn't like this movie and thought it had it coming all the way through.

I am new to the whole concept of rifftrax. X-Men was the first one I purchased. I thought it was hilarious. I'd list some of my favorite riffs but I think they've already been listed by other members. I'm looking forward to all of the other ones. I've always liked X-Men by itself, but Bill and Mike have made it even more enjoyable.
Aaahh! This movie just throws you violently into the next scene!

This is my first one too. After a long and tireless effort to do things the "easy" way, we decided to watch the movie on the computer with the trax playing in the background.

My favorite line, was after Sen. Kelly was talking about how all mutants should be registered and filed and branded. Magneto and Xavier leave the area and I think it was Bill that said "Will you push me really fast down the hallway?" Ohhhhh I died laughing!!!  :D

We didn't watch the rest because it was really late so I'm sure there's more good laughs to come.
