The (no longer 'maybe') List of Crap #126 - Famous Duos

As to real and unreal    I personally didn't give any thought to who was real or fictional, I just popped out a long list of 'famous' duos, then cut that down to 25 faves. Looking it over, even without factoring that in, I wound up with a list that was pretty well balanced between the two.

And yeah, I was trying to nudge us towards 'famous' duos, in an attempt to narrow the choices down,  even if by a shade. I gave the Wayne/Hardy example, another would be McCartney, who has paired up with folks like Wonder, Jackson, and Costello over the course of his career, but when you think of him, he's most well known for his songwriting work with that fellow named Lennon.

Ye gads, if Anais is looking down from heaven, she's probably giving you the stink eye  Lennon and McCartney, man, they are one of the most famous songwriting duos in rock history. wrote over 90% of the Beatles tunes.

Still, looking foreward to the list, even if John and Paul aren't represented    (sorry, we Beatle nuts can get overzelous)

Got your list, I like it, looks good.

Things are shaping up nicely.  I have several that have enough points so that I can do advanced write-ups, get a bit of a head start, at least on the front end of things.

Song writers are just never on my radar, so duos would not be unless they also performed as a duo.

I am a huge Beatles fan, have spent more than I wanted to on trying to get good copies of colored vinyl records the last few years, as well as some of the quality anniversary re-releases that have come out on vinyl.  But I always think of them as a group.

  Good morning everyone, I hope you are all safe and healthy. While I know a LOC isn't the most important thing in life, I am grateful for the brief distraction -this little escape from my cares and worries, both personal and worldwide- it provides. At the risk of sounding corny- my thoughts and prayers go out to you and yours, and I do hope this list can bring a smile or little light into your days.

Aw man, that's too bad, would have loved to have seen your list. I thought I saw you here on around the 22nd, but I was probably imagining things. (my brain has gone goofy of late, which I'm chalking up to stress)
