Any questions for Mike?
« on: September 22, 2006, 04:05:47 PM »
On Monday I'll be conducting a phone interview with Mike Nelson for use in an upcoming Podcast.  I'm planning to focus on Mike's recent work with an emphasis on RiffTrax, though we may get into a little bit of MST3K lore.  Seeing as the interview is for a TV web site, I'll probably work in some obligatory television-related questions, too.

If anybody here has any specific questions they'd like me to ask Mike, feel free to post them here and I'll try to work some into the discussion.

If some of you do have questions, note that I may get to all, some, or none of them.  Please don't be horribly disappointed if your question doesn't get asked.  It all depends on how much of Mike's valuable time he's willing to give me, and on where the conversation naturally goes.

Mike, now that your doing Rifftrax, you dont need to put on makeup and get ready for standing in front of a camera. But do you miss acting? Do you miss playing a part? or being a character?

You can modify that any way you want or add/delete any part that is stupid. But basically I just want to find out if he misses acting?

I was just curious about some guest riffers. Any plans on getting Kevin, Mike, and Bill on one riff, or anyone else from MST3K?

Also, is Mike going to limit the guest riffing to people he has worked with on MST3K?

Thanks

Please ask Mike these questions or however many if any at all you choose to use!

Mike, do you have any plans to write scripts for movies and if so do you have any in the works now?

What is your favorite movie of all time?

Also since watching movies are essentialy his job what else does he do in his free time ? Play sports, play d&d, go to renaissance festivals?

Thanks alot, Ross

I would like to know if there is any news or info about the "Rhino Project" that Bill has mentioned in interviews. Is it still on the table or is it locked away never to be seen by anyone.

Mike, do you enjoy the process of doing the Rifftrax as much as you did MST3K?  Are they easier or harder for you?  Is there a full writing staff like there was on the other show, or are you more or less flying solo?

Mike, where is your god now?

I'm sorry, I have no real questions... Would you mind staying alive for all eternity? Then my future kids can enjoy you....and their kids....etc....

That is quite a serious question. That question defines your manhood....
