this looks stupid and fun. but i've had a soft spot for reynolds' smarminess ever since two guys, a girl, and a pizza place. plus, it's got taika.

So he's basically an NPC who gets to play? That sounds interesting. And all the video game rules stuff looks like a more modern take on Scott Pilgrim.

It was on Nickelodeon in the early 1990s.  I liked it.  Of course Ryan Reynolds was nobody back then.  He played some kid named Billy who went through a bullying phase in the second season.  I liked it as a kid, but I think I'd find it really silly nowadays.

Looks like fun. They were filming in the financial district in Boston near where i work. I accidentally rode my bike on to the set while shooting one sunday morning.
