DVD Covers
« on: January 02, 2019, 12:11:43 PM »
Hey everybody...

Yeah I know it's been a long time lol. Somehow I never got around to making DVD covers for all my riffs. PSLOwner Piobman used to have an awesome library of them, but the page isn't working. Anybody know if there is an archive someplace? PSLOwner still has his site but it's not up to date (but pretty good!).

Happy New Year!

So I'm guessing there isn't much demand for physical media covers anymore, but I'm old school lol. Anybody know if Piobman still comes around? I bet he still has an archive of his work...

Heard back from Piobman..

I'm currently moving hosting providers and am doing a major overhaul to the cover site... but never fear everything should be back up soon. Once I'm done it will look better, be a lot snappier, and have much better filtering options for everyone to browse the covers. It will also allow me to post covers much faster once I'm done thanks to some extra lightroom integration. I'll start back up on my covers after this week. I'm excited as this will increase my productivity a ton! I have bigger plans for the website... but that is a bit further down the road as I get better at coding everything.
:highfive:

Hello Peeps!

Sorry it took longer than expected. I ran into a myriad of issues due to the the fact that I had over 600 covers. As weird as it sounds... the gallery broke if any titles/tags had spaces, but this happens ONLY when I uploaded an excessive amount of photos. Grrrrrr...... but all is happy now!

The new Cover site is up and running.... well 90% anyways. The search bar is inactive (for now) and I'm still updating the non-rifftrax sections.  BUT all of the rifftrax covers are now available.

Going over a few features... you can click the "Download all" link in any section and you can get a zip file with EVERY cover in that section (ie-Rifftrax). Be patient after clicking the link since there are about 500mb worth of files which can take a couple of minutes for the download to start.

You can now select based on the type of cover you want and there are a couple of icons on each thumbnail (when you highlight them). You can either download the file directly without having to open the image or print directly from the thumbnail view with these icons!

In lightbox view (after clicking a thumbnail) you can browse by selecting from a thumbnail list in that section, use arrow keys on keyboard or roll your mouse wheel to cycle through them. Keep in mind it will only show the current page of photos... so you'll need to exit from that view to go to next page of photos.

Also the same print and download options are in the lightbox view mode in the upper right corner.

Future features will be:
Search Functionality
Filter photos by specific riffer, riff group, rifftrax type, etc.

I don't have a contact form up on the site at the moment. But if you see any issues... feel free to post here or message me. Thanks!

Oh and it's still at the same location. http://riffage.nwbagpiper.com

Enjoy!

Cool! :o
Will you have an option for 'Latest/Most Recent Covers' to sort through? I used that option a lot when searching your DVD covers to see what the most recent ones you finished were so I could download those quicker.
Thanks again for continuing to make these covers

I didn't see any immediate option built into the gallery, but I have a few ideas on how to get that done. I definitely wanted to include that though!

That would be great if you could include that option eventually :o
I might as well ask.. What are the latest covers you've made to make sure I have them downloaded already ;D

I just spent a small fortune on VODs that I have been procrastinating on. I love the 30% Off Sale! Unfortunately this means Piobman will need to make more thinpak covers lol...
