And they announced Arcade Classics: Donkey Kong is available as of right now! I've been kind of waiting for that one. There hasn't been a faithful arcade port of Donkey Kong in ever.

Nintendo needed to show some progress on Prime 4 and anything else they already announced last year, if only to keep their stock (which I own) from plummeting, which it did.
They made a five-minute song seventeen times longer. We're cutting it down to size. The QuipTrack for The Christmas Shoes is AVAILABLE NOW at QuipTracks.com.

Also, the first official NA release of Sky Skipper...

Doesn't it go down every year at this time? It'll bounce back like it always does.
FINE

So Reggie Fils-Aime says the announcement of Metroid last year was a departure for Nintendo and they really want to focus on games that are coming out in the more immediate future. That's why they hyped games coming out during this calendar year, but only gave us a fleeting glimpse of Fire Emblem. I imagine Metroid (And Yoshi, which was also MIA) will be hyped up more in E3 2019.

Only thing I'm really concerned about is Nintendo's next portable console. Did they say anything about extending the life of the 3DS line of systems or is there a new handheld on the horizon? If there is, I hope it supports DS and 3DS games. I'd also like to imagine you can transfer your Eshop account from your 3DS to... whatever their next portable system will be.

They won't have stopped supporting the 3DS without a new console pretty far along in development.

However, they might be waiting a little to see if The Switch just takes the place of a 3DS before they commit too heavily. I'm sure that if they can concentrate one one device for everything, they'll be in a much better position. No more dividing development teams etc. But, hey, we'll see.
FINE

I just can't see people generally speaking using the Switch as their handheld system, especially for long road trips and things like that. I am not sure at the design stages that they intended for the Switch for that.

They did say there's going to be a Nintendo Direct in the near future focusing on the 3DS.
