What tickling at your nose things did you learn?
« on: December 22, 2017, 03:13:20 PM »
I learned there was another movie called "Jack Frost."

Seemingly "normal" kids of expected intelligence think it's a good idea to put car fluids in foods meant to be consumed by their fathers.

That water-tight containers are a thing of myth and mystery.

That I do have my limits when it comes to quips.

I Learned that a movie can be so bad that it even riffs itself during the end credits.

So I also just noticed that besides having the same basic premise as the Michael Keaton movie, this came out just one year earlier.  Do they make jokes about this?
I'm not particularly religious, and I don't really like Muppets, but I do love word play.

You can hook up 5 or 6 hairdriers to the same circuit and not trip the circuit breaker.

I think so. Can't remember for sure.

Oddly, there are references to both Beetlejuice and Batman Returns. That may be just coincidence though.

At least 3 including a Bankin Rass one, the Keaton one and the MST3k one. Plus the sequel to this.

I learned that when you vow vengeance on the sheriff that captured you by threatening to kill his family, you will end up killing all the members of the wrong family.

I learned that when your organic tissue is turned into liquid and you can control its state of matter, the best form you can come up with is that of... a snowman.

Killing off the only hot chick in your film is still wrong.

Your children lacing your food with anti-freeze does not qualify as attempted murder.

That in most terrible slasher movies, I'm usually hoping the serial killer offs everyone since they are usually the least annoying character. This was the exact opposite.

The sequel occurred in a tropical beach. Because a drastic scene shift would, of course, add a new fresh feel to this concept.

Despite the universally terrible acting in this film, the first 5 credited male actors have a minimum of 71 works to their credit in their filmography according to IMDB. What the hell...

Based on the look of the town's "snowman contest", I learned you can make snowmen out of coconut shavings.

I learned a movie can have three or four apparent endings before it's actually over.
