I'd be down for that.

I have the nutty idea that if they ever do a reriff, it should be Santa Claus Conquers the Martians. Everyone involved with MST3K should get to take a swing at it.

I kind of want them to tackle some of Charles Band’s stuff.

I'd like them to do a fully animated movie, some time.  I'm not sure which one would be best suited to them, but I feel there's got to be an obscure cheap one that wouldn't be too hard to get the rights to.

Not a big fan of re-riffs (always disappointed when a live show is a re-riff).
But I'd love re-riffs of some of the KTMA episodes that didn't get re-riffed in the original Comedy Central run. City on Fire would be at the top of my list.

I second this. Season 1 episodes are also ripe for reriffing. I'm surprised Rifftrax hasn't done Robot Monster as a Live show given it's a rather infamous bad movie.

I think if they were going to do a re-riff, it would probably the Crawling Eye, which might make for a fun gimmick episode.

Or the movies done during the KTMA years that they didn't revisit later.
I survived the San Diego Comic Con 2010 Hall H stabbing.

I

I read an interview with Joel and Jonah a few days before Turkey Day ( which I unfortunately can't find right now, else I'd link it), where they talked about possibly releasing "concert films" of the two live shows, separate from S11 and S12.

I'd actual prefer they do this. I would love a chance to see the live shows. Also, I wasn't advocating a reriff of Eegah. I'm not a fan re-riffs myself.

Especially would not want to see SC vs the Martians. A so-so MST and CT riff in my opinion. And one of my least favorite Rifftrax live shows.

I believe it’s now jointly owned by Shout and Alternaversal (Joel’s company).

It is disappointing to wait 1 and a 1/2 years for new episodes only to find find out you're getting 6 episodes. I'm also concerned with the idea that Joel thinks "new and casual" viewers find the season runtime "overwhelming". I guess we'll have to wait and see where he's going with that.

6 episodes was disappointing news, but the making it more binge watching friendly is what alarmed me more.
First thought was that maybe that just means a running plot in the host segments like sci fi wanted...and I thought we kind of got that with Season 11 with the wedding plot (and I didn't particularly care for it). But thinking about it more, it could mean a number of other different things like shorter episodes or movies split into 2 or even 3 different episodes. Hope my speculation is way off base.

And I'll add, I was hoping Season 12 would have more episodes than Season 11, not less.

I hope that the seasons become more frequent if they are going to be short. 6 eps every 6-8 months?

I hope they don’t split movie, if they do they’ll certainly add shorts, but that would be a bummer.

It could also be that we get six longer eps (movie plus shorts) though I doubt it.
