Now Available: Kill and Kill Again

Hey! It’s not Kill and Take The Afternoon Off to Catch Up on Reading, it’s Kill and Kill Again! So get off your lazy duff and back to work!

Who’s doing all this killing and follow-up repeat killing? Mostly Steve Chase, the world’s greatest martial artist. You wouldn’t know he’s the best from seeing his martial arts, but the movie tells you several times he’s the best, so he must be. The South African government needs him to rescue a scientist who’s been kidnapped and forced to create an army of martial artists to conquer the world. And if you can think of a more efficient way to conquer the world, you can just keep it to yourself!

Steve Chase and his long, shiny hair get the old ragtag crew together for this one last job. And they truly are the ragtaggiest of ragtag crews, the “recruiting a guy who rents a box at the junkyard” scene is not to be missed.

Oh, and also? The entire plot centers around making fuel from potatoes. So yeah, it’s your standard South African martial arts extravaganza based around root vegetable gasoline. You’re gonna love it, and love it again, with Mike, Kevin and Bill!

Question:  IMDB lists this movie as 1hr 40min, but Rifftrax has it at 70. Why the thirty minute difference?
I survived the San Diego Comic Con 2010 Hall H stabbing.

Edit: oops, I did some bad maths. Yeah, Wikipedia agrees with IMDB.

Has anyone downloaded this from Rifftrax yet? It could just be an error.
FINE

Yeah. The Rifftrax video is 1hr 11 minutes.

This isn't the first time though. Every VOD since Missile X (excluding Little Unicorn) have been missing between 15 and 30 minutes. All of those movies are listed as being at least 90 minutes, but the VODs are all 70 or under.

I've read in an interview before that they cut the films some times, but I thought that was mostly for nudity.

If they're going to cut the films MST-style for time, the least they could do is put in some cute host segments. But seriously, I think if there's more than a minute or so of sexy stuff cut out to keep it family friendly shouldn't they post we're getting an abridged version? Seems fair, yes?

But who would want to miss one heartfelt and deeply touching moment of the masterpiece that is Little Unicorn?!

I didn't think they did that for RiffTrax.

They got the extended cut of RETRO PUPPET MASTER. Maybe this shorter version of KILL AND KILL AGAIN was the only version made available to them?

So the actor is a great good reasonably accomplished martial artist. Therefore obviously his role in Space Mutiny opposite Rock Punchgroin is... a limping guy that can't move without his walking stick.

This was one of the funniest riffs ever.  You had me at the casino fight...

Is James (MacPhearson) Ryan a comic muse of sorts?   Mike Kevin and Bill seem to really reach new heights when they bust on his movies.

With that in mind, I've already added a request to Suggest-a-Trax that the prequel "Kill or be Killed" be riffed.   It looks every bit as silly if not more so...
