Uninvited is a horror movie written and directed by Star Games and Final Justice mastermind Greydon Clark, so it’s not surprising that Greydon Clark put himself in the movie. What is surprising? Pretty much everything else.

There’s a killer cat on the loose, but only sort of on the loose, because the killer cat lives INSIDE of another, larger cat. That fuzzy tabby escapes Greydon’s lab into the world, where it occasionally barfs out the killer cat within to deliver nasty low-budget feline death. Meanwhile, a sleazy rich criminal lures some Spring break college babes and their friends onto his yacht for a voyage. The voyage is to complete a big high-risk criminal deal, so why does he want random college partiers along for the ride? Because he likes watching girls do Jazzercise. No, really, that’s the whole reason.

Also along for the ride? GEORGE KENNEDY! Yes, Oscar winner George Kennedy is here, because no great character actor wants to retire without a Greydon Clark film under his belt. Oh, and the killer cat is on the yacht too, along with the bigger cat it lives inside of like a Russian doll. It’s terror on the high seas, Garfield style, and no lasagna or human is safe.

Wondering if any of Greydon Clark’s family show up in this movie, like in Star Games? If you know to ask that question, you already know the answer. Invite yourself along and yacht away with Mike, Kevin, and Bill, it’s Uninvited!

Did it need to be gotten to though? In a lot of ways its a non-starter of a movie. The movie is kind of like Ice Breakers without the stirring story, plot, action, and good actors. Heck there wasn't even one reference to Airwolf in it. I mean anytime there is a helicopter they make an Airwolf or Blue Thunder reference and yet we have an actual AirWolf actor here and nothing!
It also didn't have a bear in it. Unless the alien cat thing was a bear in its home world or maybe it's genetic makeup was part bear.
Fodder's just this guy, you know.

Rarely it is that I don't buy a Rifftrax when it comes out and know I never will. After making the mistake of watching "Maniac" I am glad I had fair warning on this one. I'm a cat lover to the extreme. This would go down like a gallon of Drano to the soul for me. Not the guys' fault at all, though I sorta remember Mike saying something somewhere about not liking cats. I love 'em too much to get entertained by this.. But I am crazy, and I know it, and don't care.

Excuse me, but there's a cat on my lap, so the slab phone goes off now 😺
