guide for bluray reauthors?
« on: March 25, 2017, 03:42:53 AM »
it's been a long time since i have reauthored and many of my old dvds are missing or scratched, so i am thinking about redoing a few key movies.  i would like to make a few using bluray and have not found any guides or info on reauthoring for bluray discs.

if anyone can lend me a hand with this it would be most appreciated.  i have used the old thrifty method for dvds for a long time but know nothing about reauthoring blurays or what i would need to do differently.  before i plunk down the money for a bluray burner, i'd like to know if anyone has been able to do bluray reauthors succesfully.

thanks,

So you want a BR disc rather than just an HD remix?

Not sure what an hd remix is, but i want a bluray, something that doesn't lose the quality of the picture

To rephrase is making your own HD VOD acceptable. Is a physical disc a requirement?

Yes,  I'd like an actual disc
