It's probably cuz JoshWay is taking a break, and isn't sidetracking us with all his new covers.

Go Torso!

That does help. Although I still have to bust out the Season 6 labels for Josh.

no...i am using MrTorso's covers and labels, but there was a dry stretch, and my brother bought me a copy of Photoshop, so i thought...why not take a stab at it....plus i freely admit I'm kinda mimicking his style.....

I Like what Gammer did on his fan page.. Designed case covers for each rifftrax..
I haven't tackled doing any dvd label covers yet, but if you feel froggy, see what creations you can make for the other Rifftraxs'.

Nice work KingArtie, but why no spines? is this for a certain type of case?

I use thin case, its just the way I print them (as 5x7 glossies) there's no way to do a spine.

Which I guess begs the question I've been meaning to ask, how do people print their covers?  I was thinking of buying a printer but wasn't sure what to look for.

oh.. and thanks.

I , and probably most people here use a preset photoshop template that has the measurements of the spines and the resolution already set.  when your done designing your cover, just save as Jpeg.  then take said Jpeg and print. You  can use the standard 8.5 x 11 Letter size paper.  Glossy always looks better.  Use what ever software came with your printer, and print to these  dimensions: 8.2225 x 10.445.  I've attached the PSD file you need.

Thanks.   I'll have to update my cover template and give it a shot.

ALWAYS use glossy photo paper.    The colors just look so much better.

I actually use some Powerpoint templates to print mine instead of Photoshop.   Almost anyway works.

Retooled full cover version.  May still need some tweaking
