I've only seen the displays in Best Buy, but man, I'd love to get me one of them passive 3D LGs with them 4K.  Course, it means buying practically a whole new setup (amplifier, cables, TV, player) to get the most out of it, which means it may be awhile before I can get it.  But man, I love those "city backdrop" demo things they do where you can see individual people walking the streets from the tops of buildings.  Truly stunning these days.

Of course, the issue is, where do they go from here?  Other than...ergh, High Frame Rate...if we want to go to 8K and beyond, we're going to have to get used to 100" TVs in people's houses.  Or attached to them, like a drive-in screen.
One Man Band Riffs.  18 riffs, over 600 served, since 2009.

4K doesn't excite me. OLED excites me. That will be my next television purchase. It just won't be for another 3 years or so.
