There's always something to learn and we'll discuss that here!

I learned that when there's a local shark attack you need to have plenty of large boneless roasts on hand.

I learned that a shark floating in water is strong enough to prevent a helicopter from lifting off.

I learned that you can have your shark-attack movie without any real meaningful deaths to push the characters forward.

I learned that wind-surfing "race" events are exactly as boring as I imagined them to be.

To be fair, I seriously doubt that helicopter could carry the weight of that shark out of water. Certainly not with all the weight on one side.

I was wondering where the heck everyone was getting all that meat from too. Some local butcher is thinking "I wish we had shark attacks more often. This is GREAT for business!"

I learned that this movie had TWO bad shark props don't even look like each other, much less real sharks.

I learned that italian sharks are armed with depth charges.

I learned that a fake slap can be executed so poorly that it causes the viewer more empathic pain than a convincing one.  And ten minutes later I learned that the reason the mayor slapped his son must have been because the son didn't fail disastrously enough for his liking.

I learned Devilfish might not be the worst Italian Aquatic Creature movie ever done.

I learned that while Vic Morrow was a man of many talents, affecting an Irish/Brogue/Scottish accent isn't one of them.

I learned James Franciscus' minimal acting talents are less noticible when surrounded by the likes of Gregory Peck, Gene Hackman, and David Janssen. Or even Charleton Heston and James Gregory.

Late to the party, but I learned that even though I expected a Scorpion/Strike joke, it never came.  But I laughed through a lot of it anyways.

I learned that.. mustache.
I'm not particularly religious, and I don't really like Muppets, but I do love word play.
