Missing sync lines?
« on: April 15, 2007, 02:29:52 PM »
Is anybody else missing most of the sync lines for Willy Wonka? I only have 4 lines, but all of the times.

I've got all the lines and the times, but I did notice some weird symbols randomly placed in the lines.

What programs are you trying to open them in?

For best results on Windows, use NotePad; on Mac use Notepad or SimpleText.

there did appear to be some extraneous characters in the txt, not sure where they came from, but missing lines? no idea what that is about.

I've tried Wordpad, Notepad, and Open Office 2.2. There's nothing there. No symbols, no weird stuff.

Has anyone else found anything strange with the sync. lines? Namely this one:

Quote
Memo bis puniter dela catem        1:39:38

The time signature of which occurs after the film's finished in my version...?

A typo should have been 1:33:38. it's the same 2m 3s difference as all the previous lines.  :o

Thank god, I thought I was crazy, I saw the riff right when it came out, but didnt say anything, I had one hell of a time synching this movie with my skipping DVD.
The Ood: The Beast and his armies will rise from the pit to make war against God.
Rose: I'm sorry?
The Ood: Apologies. I said: I hope you enjoy your meal.
