I'll be honest. I didn't think the show could work. I mean how could you make a drama about a Cannonball Run and have something new each week?

Well after the 2 hour season premiere, I am hooked! It is a fantastic show that has oodles of suspense and secrets slowly unraveled through each episode. I shouldn't have expected anything less than Tim Minear.

Nathan Fillion is great as Alex Tully, though it was initially hard for me to get past him not being Mal. The other actors in the show really pull their own as well, and I can't wait to see more of the development of the characters.

I recommend everyone to watch it. You can catch the first 3 episodes here on myspace.com.

It's my second favorite show!! (aside from numb3rs)

The ratings haven't been super-stellar, but hopefully it will at least stay in the same time slot until it gets its audience.

I like the fact that familiar people from Firefly, such as producer Tim Minear, Nathan Fillion, Richard Brooks (Jubal Early), and Marita Grabiak (directed the Firefly episode "Jaynestown") are helping get this show started.

I feel that the series has the chops to last a while. One only hopes it does.

Drive shows on Mondays, 8pm (7pm Central)

Thanks for the link, SecretAgentSuperDragon!  I saw the pilot but missed Monday's episode.  I'm not fully hooked on it yet, but I definitely liked Nathan Fillion and Melanie Lynsky, and Charles Martin Smith was excellent as well.  I kind of don't really care that much about anybody else yet.  But I'm willing to give it a couple episodes to see if it catches on with me.

It's got a good cast, but the premise seems somewhat limiting.  I do like it though, and hope it won't become another Tim Minear failure.

Yes! I loved the fact that Nathan's return to TV picked up where it left off. He left Firefly after the confrontation with Early, and he starts his new show w/ a confrontation w/ Early.

Nearly poetic.

I like it, but with the ratings it's getting, I just don't see the show going past the first 12 episodes Fox ordered.

No western accent. If there was, he would have had some explaining to do. ;)

That's awesome. I think I remember the father-daughter team talking all about Seattle on the phone, and even though its a big city, it was still pretty cool.

I have them on the tivo... but I'm worried this one isn't gonna last. I think Fox pulled the trigger at the right time with a "2 Fast 2 Furious" TV show, but that was back in 2002 with Fastlane.

Yeah this is more like "Lost meets Rat Race."

Needless to say I've forgotten about the show...

I really liked tonight's episode.  It didn't start out all that well, but it's really getting good quick.

There are some dialogue faux pas in last night's, like "Some thing's are more important than money." *cocks gun* "No. They're not."

Doh! I feel like Mal is the only one really holding it together. Everyone else kind of feels like a cheap stereotype. But it's only the first couple of episodes. Maybe they could work on that.

Yeah.  I don't really care for any of the other characters, well, except that daughter  She's kinda hot.  Oh, and I guess Mal, err. .  Alex.  Badass car and he's become a badass himself.  But some of the situations they're in are at least interesting.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Maybe if the show can get through these 12 episodes and get a 2nd season, they can cast some cool people as recurring villains or something.  Kinda like Prison Break when they got Mahone.
