Favorite games of 2015
« on: January 15, 2016, 09:11:19 PM »
Like the title said, what were your favorite games to be released in 2015?

Witcher 3 (of course)
Fallout 4 (again, or course)
Mad Max
Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth
Nuclear Throne & Broforce (these have both been in early access for a while, but they both hit version 1.0 this year.

Oh, and of course:
Undertale

I agree with Dodger totally that Undertale was probably one of the best games of the year... and ironically I still have yet to play it. I love everything I've seen about it though.

Nothing really caught my interest this year. Even the big name games, I ended up spending a few hours with and then moving back to the stuff I'd already been playing. Even stuff I should have dove right back into, like Rock Band, just flickered for a little while and flamed out. About the only things I really played to completion were:

Cities Skylines
Gal Civ 3
Endless Legends
Until Dawn
Civ: BE XP
Disgaea 5

Otherwise, I was just playing the same old stuff I played the year before.

I've spent most of this year catching up with some awesome titles from years past, but King's Quest stands out as one of the greats (Hope they can keep up the quality with the next 3 episodes).

Let me add...

Ori and the Blind Forest

Really fantastic metroidvania, with some of the best visuals I've ever seen in any game ever. Good soundtrack too.

Eh, Episode 1 was very good, but I thought Episode 2 was kinda disappointing.
