I'm going to have to end this contest right now:

my entry made my girlfriend laugh a few times, the best I can hope for really.

I'd say Whalberg definately qualifies as really good.

Wow Wesley Snipes and Dustin Diamond really missed their true calling as pop idols.

BTW, if any of you have ever seen that Snickers commercial where the guy is playing the guitar and singing that song... he's the guy in blue spandex in the video I posted. LOL.

Wow twelve pages and this hasn't been mentioned?

Sounds like a cover but it's actually the original

Well, maybe the lyrics were borderline insane, but the music is actually quite nice. I first heard "Macarthur Park" back in 1989, when my Dad purchased a tape of Maynard Ferguson's greatest hits. Maynard was a Jazz trumpeter from way back in the day, who made his career doing cover songs back in the 70s and 80s. His rendition of Macarthur Park, from the "Best Of" album seen here:

was the one I loved listening to.

And of course, Weird Al forever immortalized that classic song with his inspired rendition of "Jurassic Park"
